Teela Sculpture– Masters of the Universe
Teela statue is a fan art sculpture based on Masters of the Universe, therefore a private project. I redesigned the Teela statue while I tried to keep her face as pretty as possible as my skills allow me. I deliberately prepared the statue to be in 1/5 scale, consistent with my other MOTU statues. I personally find Teela to fill in many parts of the story of He-man. Without her, Heman’s story would seem somewhat dull.
As I knew I only get to work on Teela statue once, I made sure the general silhouette, the pose, the details and design are all perfect. The pose was very challenging, since most of Teela Statues poses were static that actually compliments her beauty. I wanted to create a pose that would be more dynamic and show her skills as much as her beauty.
